DcSoundOp First Look: Sennheiser IE 400 PRO IEM

A closer look at an in-ear monitor offering a single 7mm dynamic driver, light weight and affordability from an industry favorite in wireless systems.

In this video we’re taking a look at the IE 400 PRO in ear monitors from Sennheiser. A single 7mm dynamic driver, offering light weight and affordability from an industry favorite in wireless in-ear monitoring systems.

The kit offers some nice features, including a replaceable cable and simple yet effective tip mounts that allow for depth adjustment for a better fit. A mixture of tip sizes and materials ensures you’ll find one that’s comfortable to your ear. A good fit combined with the light 18 gram weight makes for very comfortable long sessions without constant adjustment.

I doubt there any too many folks watching this video that have not used or at least heard of Sennheiser’s wireless hardware. Maybe you’re considering buying or already own one of their systems and currently use the included ear buds that came in the box. The IE 400 could be a very reasonable next step depending on your needs.

Be sure to check out the Sennheiser IE 400 page for their five part video series on these monitors, with interviews and feedback from real musicians.
