DcSoundOp First Look: Radio Design Labs AV-PAK Dante Audio Interfaces

Dante audio networks have become incredibly popular in venues, systems and installations around the world in recent years. From stage-box & console snake solutions, to campus wide deployments including audio and video, they are really popping up everywhere.

Solving many logistics challenges and often accomplishing results that would otherwise be out of budget, it’s a wonder they have not been adopted even faster.

One of my favorite features working with Dante is the ability to use standard PoE (power over Ethernet) to deliver power to system components. Radio Design Labs makes the most of this in the AV-PAK Dante series with a variety of handy boxes for getting audio on and off the network in almost any configuration.

Let us know in the comments how you would use these in your network, or what other handy boxes like these you’ve found to be a must have in Dante systems.
