Waves Audio X-FDBK Feedback Eliminator Plugin Now Shipping (Video)

Designed to identify precise frequencies that cause feedback and cut them, helping to shorten setup time of both main systems and monitors

Waves Audio is now shipping the new X-FDBK feedback eliminator plugin, which is designed to provide an automatic and effective feedback elimination solution.

X-FDBK identifies the precise frequencies that cause feedback and surgically cuts them, shortening the setup time of both main systems and monitors.

The plugin can also help improve the “ringing out” process and shortens it to a matter of seconds. It identifies the feedback frequencies quickly and precisely and cuts them with a narrow notch, preserving the fidelity of the wedge or PA and helping to enable maximum gain without feedback.

The process is straightforward: users turn up the levels of wedges or the main system until they start to feedback. Then activate the plugin and wait a few seconds as the feedback disappears.

The plugin’s graphic frequency spectrum shows all feedback frequencies and the degree to which they were cut, letting users tweak them manually if desired.
