Support for two Ethernet AVB network cards, new "Spill Mode" for fast channel access, enhanced visual feedback and more

At Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Avid has announced that new VENUE 5.1 software update is now available, offering enhanced capabilities for Avid VENUE | S6L systems.

VENUE 5.1 key enhancements and features:

—Enhanced visual feedback of parameters and states on the high-resolution OLED displays for faster navigation and mixing

—Improved VENUE show file compatibility with other VENUE systems

VENUE | S6L is a modular, scalable live sound mixing system for a range of live sound mixing applications, including front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, theater, and more. Alll processing is at 96 kHz, and support for higher sample rates is possible given the significant available processing power available.

In addition, VENUE | S6L is a networked system and can be customized to meet a range of needs and budget. Powered by Avid Everywhere, it functions as the front-end to the Avid MediaCentral Platform, an end-to-end media management and distribution platform.

Customers with active support plans can receive the VENUE 5.1 software update at no charge via their Avid Account. For more info go here.
